Inflatable Inspections

Big Events Safety will visit your premises to carry out the relevant inspection of your inflatables. Alternatively if you do not have a place to erect them we would recommend using a local hall and possibly team up with a local company to share the cost?

In order for the inflatables to be tested and carried out as quickly as possible please note the following:

  • Be prepared to erect and dismantle all the equipment to be tested, our inspectors will not assist in this process however we can provide staff if required.
  • Have all manufactures paperwork for each unit available
  • Previous test certificates and reports
  • Proof of any repairs, modifications and remedial works that have been carried out.
  • Correct number of anchor stakes for the unit - these will be inspected.
  • Correct inflatable blower required for the inflatable.
  • Any other equipment related to the unit being tested

After the inflatables have been inspected you will be issued with all certificates along with any information required for remedial works.

Big Events Safety is able to offer two types of inspection the first is the post popular which is known as a PIPA tag & certificate, this applies to all inflatables designed for bouncing and sliding it does not apply to inflatable games, buildings or pool inflatables etc. We can also offer our own in-house inspection report that can apply to all inflatables, you will be presented with a certificate along with a unique report number that can be verified on our website.

Prices for PIPA inspection starts from £50 and our own in-house inspection prices start from £40, we are able to offer a day rate and discounts depending on the amount of units you are wanting inspected, please contact us for more information.
